Ahead of Saturday's friendly match against Peru at the stadium in the French capital, Senegal's captain Kalidou Koulibaly and his national team teammates took the trophy on a lap of honor.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) recently ruled that Senegal would be stripped of the title and that opponents Morocco would be awarded the victory after the chaotic final in Rabat in January. CAF believes Senegal abandoned the match when their players left the pitch for around 15 minutes in the final stages of regular time to protest a referee's decision.
Senegal has appealed the decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
