Selma Blair apologizes after alleged outburst on plane, says she never meant to hurt anyone

American actor Selma Blair has apologized after being accused of assaulting people during a disturbance on a plane.

In a video clip on Instagram, Blair says her lawyers have told her to keep quiet, but that she still wants to assure people that she never intended to harm anyone.

“To the people I have disappointed, whom I have hurt, frightened and worried: I am so sorry,” she says.

Selma Blair is accused of behaving violently towards staff during a flight between Los Angeles and New York on October 11. According to American media, she tried to open the plane door mid-air and bit a flight attendant.
