The song is a teaser from Seinabo Sey's new album, which will be released on March 13, and comes after she long wanted to collaborate with the rap star.
"Yasin and I have known each other for many years and made many demos that never reached people's ears," she says in a press release.
After a trip with Yasin to Gambia, Seinabo Sey realized that the song should use Yasin's surah, one of the most famous chapters in the Quran.
"At the end of the song, you also hear Yasin's mother say 'Yasin', which I think is incredibly beautiful," Seinabo Sey says.
