The task of the hired company is to ensure that unauthorized persons are not present and to check that doors and windows are closed. But hundreds of rounds, in several different departments, have only taken a few seconds.
It has also been shown that rounds on a large number of occasions have been marked as performed without the doors to the departments even being opened.
The security company Avarn Security admits that deficiencies have occurred and means that part of the explanation is that there have been guards who have not done their job. In other cases, the rounds may have been carried out correctly, but not reported in the right way.
Now, measures have been taken for the surveillance to work.
It is regrettable when our employees have not lived up to the quality that we should deliver. With hindsight, we would probably have been able to do more, says the company's press officer, Mikael Högberg, to SVT.
