TV4 reports that filming has been paused due to the unrest. Viaplay's press manager Susanne Nylén declined to comment on the information.

What I can say is that the filming location is not at risk; however, we have taken certain safety measures as a precaution, she told TV4.

It was on Sunday that Mexican drug lord Nemesio Rubén Oseguera Cervantes, known as "El Mencho", was shot dead in a military operation.

Oseguera Cervantes was the leader of the powerful Jalisco cartel, which responded to the operation by blocking roads with burning vehicles in hundreds of locations.
