Baran Coskun came to Sandviken from Brommapojkarna before the season - but now has to leave.
Sandviken's chairman and sports director Peter Svensson told the club's website that the decision was "heavy and sad," and continued:
"The results have not been sufficient and we believe that this decision gives us the best opportunity to create a positive development going forward."
Elias Gärdh will take over as head coach for the time being, but lacks the proper coaching license and therefore the club is continuing to search for a long-term solution.
Baran Coskun is the third football coach to be fired in the Super League in the last ten days, Aftonbladet writes.
Jumbo GIF Sundsvall has previously fired Erol Ates and Öster has sacked Max Mölder.
