The proportion of households who believe in falling prices is unchanged from last month at 13 percent. The proportion who believe in unchanged prices increases by 1 percentage point to 27 percent.

This is the third month in a row that households are adjusting down their housing price expectations.

"Despite prevailing turbulence and uncertainty about the future, pessimism has not grown particularly dramatically and the Housing Price Indicator is still just above its historical average. The actual housing price development is following a similar trend, with signs of slowing down rather than sharp falls, which suggests that we are facing a continued cautious housing market", says SEB's private economist Américo Fernández in a press release.
