The season is only in its third month and already Nuno Esperito Santos and Ange Postecoglou have been let go since they fell out of favor with the owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Is Dyche the man to meet Marinakis' demands and get Forest in order? He has clearly – in Burnley and Everton – shown an ability to build teams and lift clubs in crisis.
