Footage from the pub's surveillance cameras shows the little seal nimbly wedged between tables and chairs, with staff nimbly trying to catch it.
It then hid in the toilet, Bella Evans told the BBC .
In the end, staff and guests were able to lure the seal out of its hiding place and into a cage – with the help of pieces of salmon from a pizza.
Game wardens then came and picked up the seal, which seemed to be doing well, and were able to release it into the wild.
Bella Evans, who has only been a pub owner for a few months, notes in The Guardian that the seal was the first guest she has had to turn away, but also says it is welcome back.
