Not a single child should have their life ruined by these disgusting beasts, says Åkesson.
The SD's regional council, which is the party's highest decision-making body, is currently underway in Örebro. And it is a party with great self-confidence that is gathering to nail down new policies.
When it comes to sexual abuse of children, the SD leader thinks he sees an increased interest in addressing the issue.
It's something that's growing in the public consciousness, including Dumpen's work, he says after the speech.
“Pull the load”
Åkesson points out that next year the government and the SD will make it easier to prosecute those who seek sexual contact with children.
The SD has also proposed chemical castration as a voluntary measure for people convicted of sex crimes against children, or alternatively a life sentence.
All the measures that can be taken to reduce the risk of children being exposed point towards a zero vision, and then it is good to have one, says Åkesson.
The SD leader also talks about recreating a "safe, free and Swedish" Sweden.
Without gang violence, without clan rule, without honor killings, without Islamism, without Muslim calls to prayer, without foreign wars and conflicts on our streets, he says in the speech.
He emphasizes that it will take both time and patience to get “everything that has been destroyed” in order.
But we've started to get something really done.
He believes the deficit in the opinion polls can be reversed. And he expects that it will be the SD that will have to do the heavy lifting.
Just like in the last election, it looks like we will have to carry the heavy burden.
Integration
This is to win over the voters that are needed, both from the sofa and the opposition, and mainly from the Social Democrats, according to Åkesson.
"We cannot, and we should not, trust that any other party will take the necessary initiatives, have the necessary will or the necessary power. Instead, we must assume that it is we who must do it, that it is we who must win again," says Åkesson.
When it comes to the party's core issue of migration, SD has achieved large parts of its policy during its mandate. Åkesson says after the speech that the next big battle will be about integration.
The main solution is to make demands, he says.
The fact that we are tightening the welfare system places higher demands on people to support themselves. They must be able to speak Swedish, understand Swedish society and things like that. We are upping the value of Swedish citizenship – that is something that you will need to relate to if you want to fully participate in what society has to offer.
