Lindberg says this ahead of Wednesday's extraordinary meeting to which the Riksdag's group leaders are invited by Speaker Andreas Norlén.
This, Lindberg explains, is so that the chamber can secure the election result.
"Now we have nine wild ones. That's quite a large number, actually; it's almost as many as the smallest party," Lindberg tells Ekot.
Lindberg believes that "all parties" should be included in a new set-off system.
But the Left Party's group leader Samuel Gonzalez Westling tells Ekot that he believes that the Sweden Democrats cannot be part of a future set-off system, in light of last week's events.
