The SD politician, who was a municipal council member in a municipality in Skåne, was active in a group on Facebook called "Russia is our friends," reports the newspaper Expo.
"Sickly tired of Ukraine's proxy war and Europe's warmongering against Russia. Ashamed to be Swedish," the politician wrote there this spring.
She claims that Zelensky was appointed by "one of Ukraine's biggest gangsters" and that the country has been "sold" to NATO and the US since 2014.
According to Expo's review, Russia is described as threatened and that it is actually Europe, the USA and those she calls "globalists" who are aggressive.
The SD group leader in the municipality says that the woman is leaving all municipal assignments.
"The opinions expressed do not correspond to the party's views, but are the person's own thoughts and reflections," the group leader writes to SVT.
