The Sweden Democrats want Sweden to have the lowest number of granted residence permits in the entire EU in 2027.
"Now that asylum reception is close to zero, we will strive for as little migration as possible," the party writes in its election manifesto, which will be presented on Monday.
In addition to a “migration pledge,” the party also promises to fight for low fuel prices. In the election manifesto, the party states that Sweden should always have the lowest pump prices in the EU and that this will be the SD's top priority in all upcoming budget negotiations.
The Sweden Democrats are also campaigning on strengthening activity support for the long-term unemployed. Among other things, the party wants to raise the floor for the compensation from 365 kronor per day to 500 kronor.
