SD MP Jessica Stegrud may be removed from the party board, reports GP.

When the party's election committee produced proposals for a new party board, Stegrud's name was not included, the newspaper writes. Instead, it is proposed that MP Dennis Dioukarev be given the seat.

Jessica Stegrud caused a storm when she wrote in a post on X about Minister of Culture Parisa Liljestrand (M) and the Social Democrats' cultural policy spokesperson Lawen Redar.

"Still telling that it is a Swedish-born Kurd and a Persian debating a Swedish cultural canon in Aktuellt," she wrote.

Later, the magazine Expo revealed that a man with connections to right-wing extremism spread a video clip in which he follows and confronts two teenagers – and that Stegrud was holding the camera.
