Scotland's centre-back Ryan Porteous made a, to say the least, robust challenge on Ilkay Gündogan in the opening match of the European Championship, which ended in a 5–1 German victory.
The referee not only pointed to the penalty spot but also showed Porteous a red card.
It is now clear that Uefa is banning the centre-back for two matches for "serious rough play", according to Expressen. This means that Porteous will miss the remaining group stage matches against Switzerland and Hungary.
