The three from the United States are the only players to have won 20 times on the PGA Tour and four majors before turning 30.
"Pretty crazy. It's been a fantastic start to my career," Scheffler said.
In addition, all of those victories came in the last four years and now that he has reached 20 in total, Scheffler will receive a lifetime membership on the tour.
Scheffler won the tournament in La Quinta, California, at 27 under par - a full four strokes ahead of a quartet of players.
Ludvig Åberg withdrew from the tournament after two days due to illness. The trio of Alex Norén, Jesper Svensson and Pontus Nyholm missed the cut.
