Norway, who recently defeated Sweden 3-1, will have to find new ways to recharge before their opening match in the World Cup, against Iraq in just over a week.
The Norwegian national team management has announced that next week's planned closed friendly match against Scotland has been cancelled because of injuries in Scotland's squad. It is not clear which injuries led to the cancellation, but a week ago Scotland's Billy Gilmour suffered a knee injury.
Norway will face Morocco in another friendly match on Sunday, as planned.
