Martin Scorsese is producing a documentary film about the late Pope Francis, reports Variety.
The documentary, “Aldeas – A New Story”, will focus on how the Pope, through one of his last major initiatives, worked to bring together filmmaking with educational efforts in order to bring people from all corners together and foster unity in a divided world.
The film, which has not yet received a premiere date, will also offer the Pope's last major recorded interview.
Pope Francis passed away on April 21 this year.
