It was nice that the match came quickly, so now it's over and done with, says Tandberg to Viaplay.
Hammarby got the best possible start when the Damallsvenskan resumed after the summer break. The Stockholm team defeated Linköping 3-0 at home - for the day at Grimsta - and are now level with second-placed Häcken.
Pursuing Rosengård
Both teams are on 36 points after 15 rounds - nine points behind league leaders Rosengård, who have won all their matches so far this season.
As early as the fifth minute, Hammarby took the lead when Norwegian Emilie Joramo shot from distance on a corner kick variation. The shot hit Linköping midfielder Vilma Koivisto's foot, leaving Cajsa Andersson in the away goal completely helpless.
It wasn't until the 77th minute that the 2-0 goal fell. After fine preparatory work from Julie Blakstad, Smilla Vallotto was able to extend the lead.
It wasn't over yet. In the 69th minute, new acquisition Cathinka Tandberg was substituted in for Hammarby - the forward who was recruited from Linköping just a week ago. After a quarter of an hour on the pitch, the Norwegian scored 3-0, but she chose to hold back on the emotional expressions out of respect for her old club.
"A bonus"
It's a bonus that I get to score a goal. It gives me good self-confidence, says Tandberg and continues:
It's of course a special match. But I'm coming in to show my style of play. When I'm on the pitch, I play for Hammarby.
On Wednesday, a top match in the Damallsvenskan awaits - when Hammarby will face Häcken.
