The Häcken players do not want to take anything out in advance, even though the team has a four-point lead with only two rounds left in the women's Swedish football championship.
Similarly, Felicia Schröder doesn't really want to claim victory in the scoring league yet.
But after two of Häcken's goals on Sunday – her 28th and 29th this women's Swedish season – one still has to say that it may be a little overly humble.
The 18-year-old still has almost as many goals as Hammarby's Ellen Wangerheim and Malmö FF's Sara Kanutte combined (both 16 goals).
"Well, I don't know. There are two games left," she says.
“A little careless”
However, the two goals – the second of which came from a penalty – at least mean that her goal drought has been broken.
After pouring in goals during the spring and summer, it came to a temporary halt in October, when there were neither goals in Häcken nor in the national team.
The goals against Linköping were Felicia Schröder's first since the end of September.
"I've been thinking about it. I've still been going out and trying to put them in, but I've been a little sloppy the last few games," she says.
But now I had to put two today.
“Match by match”
Malmö FF fell out of the gold medal race on Sunday, but Hammarby remains in the hunt.
Häcken, however, can decide on their own on Saturday, in the away match against Djurgården.
"I think we've done well in taking it game by game. That's what we have to think about now, in the last two games," says Felicia Schröder.
But we can't deny that it's the gold we're aiming for. I'd say every team does.
