The reigning Swedish football champions have yet to drop points in the 2026 Damallsvenskan. At home against Växjö, they achieved their fifth consecutive victory, despite striker Felicia Schröder sitting on the bench.
19-year-old Schröder has already played 15 games for Häcken this season, most recently in Saturday's cup final against Hammarby, and was therefore rested.
In her place, Paulina Nyström stepped up as the match hero.
The 25-year-old rushed forward and scored to make it 2–1 in the 22nd minute. She forced an own goal by Växjö to make it 3–1 in the 66th and sealed the match by scoring to make it 4–2 in the final minutes.
Hammarby also has five wins in as many rounds. On Wednesday, they won 2-1 in the summit clash against Malmö FF. Svea Rehnberg and Gudrún Arnardóttir scored the goals for the home team.
