Three employees at a school in Växjö have been infected with salmonella, reports Smålandsposten.

The school suspects that the employees have been infected after eating the school food. No student is believed to have been infected.

The school receives the food via a private supplier. According to Christian Blomkvist, infectious disease doctor in the Kronoberg region, about ten cases of salmonella have been detected in the region in recent weeks.

It is quite a lot for us in Växjö that there are tens of cases in a short time. We are trying to find a common source of infection. It is not certain that all cases are connected, he says to SMP.
