The Swedish Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) notes that sometimes there were no records at all and that in several cases it took more than a year before the children received a report. In one case, the psychologist did not meet the child but made an assessment anyway.
The school psychologist has been dismissed from his position. He has claimed that high workload, poor health and ethical stress were behind the shortcomings, which occurred between 2020 and 2023.
According to the municipality's head of student health, there may be more child investigations missing.
