Ambulance crews, the rescue services and police have been called. There are no reports of injuries.
A suspicious smell has been detected. The rescue services are there to investigate, police press spokesperson Anders Bryngelsson says.
At 11am, the rescue services were still searching the building to locate the possible source of the leak and identify the substance that may have escaped.
We are working our way through the building, taking measurements. We estimate it will take two hours, Ulf Tholén, a control operator at Räddningscentral Mitt, tells TT.
He also says that people have now been allowed back in and can stay on the first and second floors of the school.
However, we are on the third floor taking measurements, so no one is allowed there, Tholén says.
