His consistent modus operandi has been to assume the identities of young girls under the age of 18. He then makes contact with girls, tries to build trust and steer the conversation toward sexual topics, which usually involves lesbian relationships, prosecutor Anders Stridh tells the newspaper.
The man is also suspected of having hijacked a ten-year-old girl's identity and used it in contacts with other girls.
He is being charged with, among other things, child rape. He has confessed.
