The suspected crimes - including aggravated rape of children, aggravated exploitation of children for sexual posing and child pornography crimes - are believed to have been committed over a long period of time.
The man, who was arrested on Tuesday, is employed at a school in Kalmar County.
The school has been informed about the situation. Our investigation is focused on victims abroad. But we are not ruling anything out right now - he has a sexual interest in children. The investigation is at a very early stage, says Jarnemark.
