An elementary school in Hjo is being closed after a threat of a school shooting. This is the second time in a short time that a threat has been made against the school, reports P4 Skaraborg.

Earlier this week, a threat to the school was scrawled on a wall. Hjo municipality writes on its website that the latest threat, which concerns a school shooting on Tuesday, was more concrete and that it has therefore decided to close the school.

A suspect - who according to the police is a minor but of criminal legal age - has been brought in for questioning.

Since the earlier threat, other schools and preschools in the municipality have locked their front doors. On Tuesday, they will also have their breaks indoors, the municipality announced.

According to P4 Skaraborg, a threat to a high school in Mariestad was also discovered on Tuesday. The school's doors will therefore be kept locked during the day.
