At least four children were killed and nearly 40 injured when a car-borne suicide bomber attacked a bus carrying students. The attack took place in Khuzdar in the southwestern province of Baluchistan in Pakistan on Wednesday.
The children on the bus were on their way to a school run by the military, according to information from local authorities. For several of the injured, their condition is reported to be life-threatening.
Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi condemns the attack in sharp words and calls the perpetrators "monsters".
It is pure barbarism to attack innocent children, he says according to AP.
No group has taken responsibility.
