One of the boys is still "hospitalized for treatment" and is being treated for serious injuries, Region Västmanland announced on Tuesday afternoon. The other boy has been moved to Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm. According to Region Stockholm, he is still seriously injured but his condition is described as stable.
Both boys are aged 12-17.
A 17-year-old girl was killed when an 18-year-old attacked her with a sword at Brinell School in Fagersta on Friday. On Sunday, the suspected perpetrator was taken into custody on probable cause for murder and attempted murder.
A third boy was slightly injured in the attack and was able to leave the hospital on Friday.
