The PGA tour announces that Scottie Scheffler has withdrawn from the competition in Hawaii next week.
The 28-year-old American is said to have cut himself on a broken glass on Christmas Day. Small glass shards were stuck in his palm and Scheffler therefore needed to operate on his right hand.
"He has been told that he will be back to 100 percent in three to four weeks", says Scheffler's agent Blake Smith according to the PGA tour.
The next competition that Scottie Scheffler has on his schedule takes place in California, 16-19 January.
