Westman achieved her best World Cup finish to date, second place, at the ski flying competition in Vikersund, Norway, in March. She also set two Swedish distance records there.
"This is the most fun I've ever had in my entire life," she said in a press release after the first Swedish record.
To finalise the World Cup schedule and avoid holding competitions over Easter, the International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) has decided to remove the women's competition from Vikersund, NTB reports.
