"With the increase in August, the calendar-adjusted and seasonally adjusted sales volume in retail trade now shows the highest level measured since the surveys began," says Brunilda Sandén, statistician at Statistics Sweden.
SCB: Retail sales hit record high in August
Retail sales increased by 0.8 percent in August compared with the previous month, according to Statistics Sweden (SCB). Compared with August last year, the increase was 6.9 percent, measured in constant prices and calendar-adjusted figures.
