Earlier in February, the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority decided to impose a penalty of SEK 80 million on SBB for violating accounting rules in 2021.

"SBB does not share the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority's assessment and intends to appeal the decision," SBB writes in the interim report.

The report also shows that the property company increased rental income by 4.8 percent in the past year. Net operating income increased by 7.4 percent.

"Step by step, SBB has worked according to a strategic plan, a plan that we have now implemented," writes CEO Leiv Synnes in a comment.
