The financially crisis-stricken real estate company SBB made a loss before tax of 917 million kronor for the second quarter. It was still better than during the same period last year when the loss was as much as 3.5 billion kronor.
Rental income has decreased in pace with the sale of properties, to 845 million, compared to 1,001 million kronor during the same period last year.
But CEO Leiv Synnes is optimistic:
"The trend has turned - we see good reasons to be optimistic about the valuations and SBB's long-term opportunities", he writes in the quarterly report.
