SBAB is lowering the interest rates on fixed-rate mortgages by 0.10–0.15 percentage points on loans with a 1–7 year binding period.
The reduction is being implemented as an effect of lower market interest rates and the competitive situation on the market, according to a press release.
Handelsbanken also announced on Friday that fixed-rate mortgage rates are being lowered with immediate effect.
The interest rate on mortgages with a 1-year binding period is being lowered by 0.25 percentage points to 3.44 percent. Mortgages with 2 and 3-year binding periods are being lowered by 0.10 percentage points to 3.39 and 3.49 percent respectively.
