Sävehof continues to be one of the great giants in Swedish handball, especially on the women's side.
In front of the home crowd, they once again won the Swedish championship - but the third final match would be dramatic.
The first meeting ended 25–22, the second 30–27.
Final match three then continued at the same pace, and Sävehof took a six-goal lead at halftime. But Skara did not give up and took the match to extra time.
It was a thrilling match and it took double overtime before Sävehof clinched the win. Icelandic Elín Klara Thorkelsdóttir was the match hero with eight goals.
The team won the regular season by a landslide and then won nine straight in the playoffs. The club has now won 16 Swedish championships in the last 20 seasons.
