Meanwhile, Qatar-based Al Jazeera reports that its journalists on the ground heard explosions in the area.
The reports of attacks come after the Houthi movement and the Saudi-led coalition issued sharp warnings to each other about imminent attacks.
On Monday, the coalition ordered the evacuation of an oil facility in Sanaa, Yemen’s Houthi-controlled capital.
The Houthi movement had already warned that an attack on Sanaa would be met “with force”.
The Iran-backed movement has also warned civilians and employees of Saudi oil producer Saudi Aramco at all its facilities in Saudi Arabia, as well as employees of Saudi airlines. The warning is similar to one issued on Monday, after attacks were reported on a military base in southern Saudi Arabia and King Khalid Airport outside Riyadh.
