It's quite a lot that isn't in place, says SAS communications chief Alexandra Lindgren Kaoukji to TT.
Employees have been informed that a reorganization will take place, but exactly what it will look like SAS doesn't know yet, according to Lindgren Kaoukji. Nor does one know if all 200 people "affected" will be notified.
It's such things that we don't know at all yet, says Lindgren Kaoukji.
Our hope is that we'll have this in place before the summer, but it's nothing we've decided. We haven't decided which employees and colleagues are affected.
Two years ago, SAS - which has undergone a reconstruction process - got new owners. Among others, the airline giant Air France-KLM is one of the major owners. Now SAS wants to reorganize to meet "the new era in the aviation industry", says Lindgren Kaoukji.
It's about building a resilient airline. Therefore, we can't say that we're laying off 200 straight away. We're reorganizing, looking at what we have for a structure and how it should be best suited to meet the future we're facing.
