An SAS flight landed in Nice, France on Wednesday. Soldiers from the French military air police were waiting at the airport for a random alcohol and drug test.
After the pilot tested positive for cocaine, he was immediately placed in custody and has now been sentenced, according to Nice-Matin.
"This matter is with the authorities and the police," SAS's communications manager Alexandra Lindgren Kaoukji wrote to Aftonbladet on Friday.
The plane came from Copenhagen and was later scheduled to continue to Arlanda with new passengers. That flight was canceled.
