A British union has given notice to just over 130 cabin crew employees at SAS subsidiary SAS Connect in London to strike during the Christmas holiday, reports Aftonbladet with industry newspaper Check-in.dk as a source.

The background is a pay dispute between the company and the union Unite, and the parties have not yet been able to agree. The notice applies at Heathrow Airport on December 22-24 and December 26.

SAS does not want to comment on the strike threat or how it may affect Swedish travelers.

"We are currently in dialogue with the parties concerned. As negotiations are ongoing, we cannot comment further on the matter at this time," writes the airline's communications manager Alexandra Lindgren Kaoukji in an email to Aftonbladet.
