After competing in Melodifestivalen seven times, Sanna Nielsen is now elected to the music competition's own Hall of Fame. Nielsen debuted in Melodifestivalen in 2001, but it was not until her seventh attempt that she won in 2014. In the Eurovision Song Contest, she finished third with the song "Undo".
During the weekend's qualifying round in Västerås, she performed her own medley based on her previous entries to the competition.
Melodifestivalen's Hall of Fame was established in 2020, when, among others, Bert Karlsson and Björn Skifs were elected. Sanna Nielsen is described as a "singing obvious choice" in SVT's press release.
