A 36-year-old man who is alleged to have stalked Sanna Marin has been banned from visiting the former Finnish prime minister, reports Yle.
According to the verdict, the man had been in Marin's stairwell and tried to enter her apartment. Finnish media report that the man approached Marin on several occasions from the beginning of December until Christmas Eve, when he was arrested near her home.
The ban on visits applies until January next year. The 36-year-old denies the offense.
Social Democrat Sanna Marin led Finland from 2019, when she became the world's youngest female prime minister at the age of 34, until 2023.
