To get the job, applicants need to be able to lift delicate equipment weighing 15 kilograms. The work includes carrying the robot back to the office if it breaks down.
The company's CEO, 26-year-old Stash Pomichter, wants to create AI robots that can perform physical tasks, such as carrying grocery bags and lifting heavy boxes.
“It's honestly barbaric that humans still do this kind of physical work,” Pomichter tells the newspaper.
The robot dogs need to learn to navigate independently in an urban environment - hence the job advertisement.
