Finnish insurance group Sampo Group reports revenue of 757 million euros, beating expectations of 535.8 million euros, according to a Bloomberg report.
The company notes in the report that Storm Amy in early October caused significant damage costs but that the weather conditions were otherwise favorable.
“The Group remains exposed to additional potential weather-related costs as the fourth quarter is largely a winter quarter,” the report states.
The company reiterates its full-year forecast for insurance revenues of EUR 8.9 to 9.1 billion.
