Madelene Sagström made a fine start in the LPGA tournament in Los Angeles and is tied for fourth after a hole in one, her first in competition.
I only saw that the ball disappeared and thought: "Damn, it must be in". It was cool, says Sagström to Sportbladet.
The Swede went around in 65 strokes, seven under par and now shares fourth place. Even better was Frida Kinhult, who with –8 is in third place behind South African Ashleigh Buhai and Chinese Yan Liu.
Anna Nordqvist and Ingrid Lindblad are also in the mix after both going around in four under par, which puts them in a tie for 24th place.
