Madelene Sagström made four consecutive birdies on holes 13–16. She also made birdies on holes six and seven.

I am satisfied with my day. I tried to play smart and it paid off, says Sagström in Viaplay's broadcast.

Miranda Wang leads the competition at eleven under par. The game had to be interrupted several times due to bad weather and it took the Chinese ten hours to complete the round.

Several top players did not have time to finish before the game was blown off. Including former world number one Nelly Korda and the Swedes Linn Grant and Anna Nordqvist, Linnea Ström and Frida Kinhult who could only play a few holes each. They will resume their rounds on Saturday morning.

Ingrid Lindblad took revenge for a worse opening round and went four strokes under par for the day. She is in 34th place, as the second best Swedish player.
