It was when Khaddi Sagnia started training a little harder for the Swedish Team Championships this weekend that the long jumper felt a pain in her back. Now it is clear that she will miss this weekend's competition, reports SVT.
It felt good when she ran, but in the evening after the session she felt some cramping, her coach Anders Möller tells SVT.
Her back also kept her out of the Diamond League gala in Stockholm earlier this summer, and there is currently no forecast for when she will be fit to compete.
There is concern that she could miss the highlight of the summer, the European Championships in Birmingham in August.
"Yes, of course. But it's not at all unrealistic that she will get there," says Anders Möller.
