In 2023, she was handpicked as one of the opening acts for Taylor Swift's "Eras tour". But now Sabrina Carpenter is standing on her own feet, with her first major arena tour – which has sold out in the USA.

I haven't really grasped that I'm here. I don't think I'll understand until she's on stage, but maybe not even then. It feels unreal, says Linnea Lennartsson from Sala in the queue to Avicii arena.

In Europe, Sabrina Carpenter has already played in cities such as Milan, Berlin, Oslo, and Copenhagen. And the demand is high, the first concert in Stockholm on April 3 was soon extended with a concert on April 4, which is also sold out. Equipped with hearts, platform shoes, makeup, and glitter – typical attributes for Carpenter – the fans are now waiting for the star.

I slept for two hours last night because I fixed all the things. We got up at four, says Jack Pearce, who will be wearing pink platform shoes during the concert.

It was last year that Carpenter became the name on everyone's lips with the album "Short n' sweet" – where the song "Espresso" made her the most streamed artist globally on Spotify in 2024. It is mainly songs from her sixth studio album that she is now performing, but also with tracks from her previous album, "Emails I can't send".

Carpenter was discovered as early as 2009 in a talent competition where she got a role in Disney's "Girl meets world" in 2014. She also got a record deal with Disney's record label Hollywood Records the same year. But the artist has shaken off the child star stamp with ease.

British indie-pop artist Rachel Chinouriri opens both evenings.
