The man is not allowed to come within 100 yards (91 meters) of Sabrina Carpenter or her home, according to an order from a Los Angeles court.
"His behavior has made me fear for my personal safety," the pop star writes in her submission to the court.
According to Carpenter, the man entered her property on May 23 and attempted to enter the residence. When security guards confronted him, he refused to leave.
The man was arrested, but after being released he returned to Carpenter's house twice over the next two days, including sitting outside the property in his car for several hours.
