When Sabrina Carpenter a couple of weeks ago revealed the cover picture of the new album "Man's best friend" the criticism did not wait for itself. In the picture, the star is standing on all fours on the floor while an unknown suit-clad man pulls her hair straight up.
Carpenter's comment field on Instagram was quickly filled with upset fans who thought the picture is sexist and that it devalues and dehumanizes women. Carpenter replied on her part that she "does not care a damn" about the criticism.
Now she seems to have come to other thoughts. On her website, there are now a number of copies of the album, with a completely new cover.
"Here is a new alternative cover, approved by God", she writes on Instagram.
American Sabrina Carpenter broke through to the large audience last year, with songs like "Espresso" and "Please please please". In April this year, she performed two sold-out concerts in Stockholm.
